Fans will vote once again for the title of the community-created Eco Living stuff pack for “The Sims 4” next week. Ahead of this special event, Maxis offers a first look at the new gameplay items that will be included in the upcoming DLC.
In his latest post on Twitter, game producer Graham Nardone, also known to all the Sims fans as SimGuruGraham, released a quick glimpse at the new set of clothing objects that began to show up in the latest build of Eco Living stuff pack for “The Sims 4.”
Check out the latest teaser photo shown below.
In the said tweet, SimGuruGraham included a hashtag “work in progress.” The new image reveals the new set of clothing items in the right panel and it seems that the Sims team still needs to work on some of the parts that are obviously unfinished yet.
Voting schedule details
In more news, players will cast their respective votes again in the final two voting events for Eco Living pack set to take place early next month. SimGuruGraham already detailed the schedule of voting for the stuff pack’s title and icon last week.
He said that the selection for the official title comes first before fans can choose for the icon that will appear on the box art and the catalog.
Official voting for pack title (Sep 6-8)
From September 6 to September 8, fans will be voting for the official title they want for this fan-created DLC. It is expected that gamers will choose the title that will suit best with Eco Living’s environment and content during the 3-day poll.
It appears that Eco Living is currently used as a placeholder name after it was voted as the overall theme for the pack earlier this year.
Pack icon poll (Sep 13-15)
A week after the selection for the pack title, fans will again get involved in the voting for the pack icon. They can choose from numerous choices proposed by the development team as the official icon for Eco Living stuff pack.
As mentioned, this icon will appear on the DLC pack’s box art and on its in-game catalog.
Notably, this will be the last poll to be held for the community stuff pack and after which, they'll wait for the stuff pack to launch sometime in 2018.
Maxis previously said that the main objective of developing a community stuff pack is to allow fans get involved in creating a DLC that they wish to see next in the popular life simulation title.
“The Sims 4” is currently available on PC and Mac platforms. The game is also the first full game to debut on Xbox One and PS4 consoles this coming November 17.
