NBA 2K18 has been giving the fans updates of player ratings as it gets closer to the release of the game. 2K gave gamers a first look at some of the player ratings throughout the summer, but now they are bringing out more player ratings. They have released the ratings for the Top 10 players at all positions. With this list, 2K also gave us the Top Ten overall players in NBA 2K18. Many people, gamers, and basketball fanatics had their say on the list and it is debate worthy, to say the least. With the game dropping in a few weeks, 2K now has people ready to get their hands on one of the most anticipated games of 2017.

2K has given us insight into player ratings, having fun with their new advertising tool, but now it's time to focus in on the best of the best in 2K. The list of the top ten players in the games raises many eyebrows, as the list has some players over and underrated. The top ten players in 2K are as follows:

Every player on this list had a great NBA season last year, shocking fans with dazzling plays and thunderous dunks all season. 2K rates players by how they performed the season prior, so you'd believe people couldn't have a problem with this list right?

Let the debates begin

2K puts a lot of work into making 2K, as it is one of their best selling games. They are surely not going to lose any buyers with their newly released ratings, but it will definitely start up many debates. The rating list was the talk of the day on Twitter, as many fans gave their opinions on the newly released list.

The main gripe about the list was how severely underrated Russell Westbrook seems to be. Westbrook is coming off of an extraordinary year, breaking the triple-double record set by Oscar Robertson over 50 years ago. Westbrook hasn't said anything about the rating, but his fans have done the talking for him, replying to the tweet with many words and emojis expressing their displeasure.

2K is building some steam as we move closer to its release, and this list only made people more anxious to get their hands on the game. Players who pre-ordered the game will be given the game September 15, as part of the early tip-off promotion. It will be released to all players on September 19.
