Although the graphics and levels in many games have improved, there are still gamers who like to play the classics. The problem is that many of these games aren't available on the platform the gamer owns, or the games aren't available on the newer platform that the game was originally created for. Many gaming companies are bringing the older games back, and not only are they releasing for the new platforms, gamers can get them on other platforms too. The latest game to be released is "Secret of Mana," previously released on the Super Nintendo platform, and now available for PlayStation 4.

What gamers can expect

Business Insider said that "Secrets of Mana" is coming to PlayStation 4. The game, previously released on Super Nintendo, received a 3D makeover and a new arrangement of the game's original soundtrack. It also allows for multiplayer. Players can also expect added voice work for the game's main characters. For gamers who want to order the new game, it will cost $40 and include in-game costumes as a bonus. The release is set for February 2018.

The PlayStation Blog reported that the "Secrets of Mana" release would come to both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in digital format. It is considered to be one of the greatest RPG games of all-time and was released by Super Nintendo in 1993.

The new release of "Secrets of Mana" will stay faithful to the game's original story and will adopt modern 3D graphics and controls. Although the game has been rebuilt from the ground up, it still offers the same whimsical gameplay that players loved. Players have the option of local gameplay and can play the game with up to three players.

Language options allow players to experience the game in Japanese or with subtitles.

The story revolves around a young man named Randi who discovers a secret sword called the Mana Sword -- a sword of great power. He embarks on a quest to defeat the evil forces trying to control Mana. He is joined by a noblewoman named Primm and a mischevious sprite named Popoi.

Together the trio take on evil forces to bring balance to the world.

Upcoming PlayStation Plus games

The Express UK reported that PlayStation Plus subscribers have a lot to look forward to with the latest release of a free games lineup. Sony plans to release the new games in September. The games will be available for download for PS Plus subscribers on September 5. Fans have less than two weeks to download the current collection of games currently available. Current store titles available include "Assassins Creed Freedom" and "Just Cause 3." Sony hopes to beat the XBOX release of their games, which include gold releases. After the release of version 4.5 for the console, PlayStation players also have the option of purchasing PS One classic games.
