Sledgehammer assured players that there will be no animated camo in the multiplayer of “Call Of Duty: WWII.” The animated camouflage in the pre-order bonus of the game has received massive criticism from its fans. Recently, the game developer released a statement about this issue.
Animated camouflage
On his official Twitter account, Sledgehammer COO Michael Condrey responded to a fan who inquired about the animated camouflages. According to the COO, the game’s weapon camos as compared to the previous game installments will be more traditional. So far, the game developer has not put any animated camouflage in the multiplayer side of the game.
This simply means that the upcoming game preserves its believable and immersive aspect that fans are expecting. It is worth noting that the game developer has totally removed the animated camo from the previous game installments. Currently, if you play the previous titles, you cannot find any animated camouflages in the game.
Other details
“Call of Duty: WWII” revealed that it will be a departure from the present state of the franchise as it will take the game back to its origins. This is the same approach that the “Battlefield” franchise is taking. Players can expect that the upcoming title will take them back to the terrifying and chaotic environment of the Second World War.
In this game, players will play the part of an ordinary soldier who finds himself in the middle of a conflict.
There will be no super-power soldier in this game who can solely take out an entire army. Moreover, several elements in the previous installments were totally tweaked. In the upcoming game, players will be forced to depend on the team to restore health and get ammo. The game takes it to a higher notch in its aim for authenticity and realism.
Nazi Zombies Mode
A few days ago, fans witnessed how Sledgehammer creatively put into life the terrifying zombies created by the Germans when they were about to be defeated by their enemies. True to its previous claim, the game developer has indeed made a dark and chilling mode. The latest trailer is packed with creepy sound effects that will surely make those zombies-loving players enjoy the game more.
Aside from the trailer, Sledgehammer also revealed the actors that are involved in the project. The reveal took place at team’s panel during the San Diego Comic-Con 2017. David Tenant, Ving Rhames, and Kathryn Winnick are among the veteran names that were revealed.
“Call of Duty: WWII” is scheduled to release on November 3 this year. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, Dexerto reported.
