five new weapons will be released in the Russian DLC of “Battlefield 1.” The new weapons include submachine guns, light machine guns, and rifles. The In the Name of the Tsar expansion will be the second DLC that will be released in the game following the launch of They Shall Not Pass several months earlier.
New weapons
Many weapons were previously reported to be showcased in “Battlefield 1” along with the release of In the Name of the Tsar expansion. However, recently a new report surfaced revealing five more weapons, which fans could expect in the game soon.
Among these is the Medic’s weapon, Chinese General Liu Rifle. It is a semi-automatic and hybrid weapon with six rounds capacity. The Italian Perino Model 1908 machine gun for the game’s Support Class is also coming to the game. Players can also get their hands soon on the German Maxim SMG, which is a very powerful 80-rounds submachine with a box magazine that was made during the war.
Also, the famous Italian bolt-action Rifle known as the Vetterli M1870 with variants Infantry and Carbine will soon be available in the game. Interestingly, the sawed-off carbine that was popularly used as a secret weapon known as the Obrez is also coming to the game. Apparently, these weapons are not the most bizarre armaments that are being used in the game.
The world’s smallest handgun that could not even kill someone, known as the Kolibri Pistol, is in the game.
Russian DLC
The highly anticipated expansion of the first person shooter game will take the players to the time when the Russian Empire fought against the Astro-Hungarians and the German Empire. In history, the war later resulted to the pulling out of the Russian forces after the Bolshevik revolution took place.
The events in this period later paved the way for the creation of the Soviet Union.
The In the Name of the Tsar DLC will also roll out four new maps that players will enjoy. Among these includes the Lupkow Pass, Albion, Galicia, and Brusilov Keep. Aside from these four maps, there will be two more maps coming to the game after the official DLC release.
Moreover, as previously leaked, the upcoming expansion will also feature the Russian Women’s Battalion. The new addition to the game will be a part of the Scout class when playing as Russian in the game. The In the Name of the Tsar DLC of “Battlefield 1” will be released in September 2017.
