“The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” is without a doubt one of the most critically acclaimed titles in the video game industry. Bethesda, in one way or another, has found a way to make this game the most interesting one in the franchise. While it has been here for quite some time now, its popularity has never diminished.
Previously, the studio announced their intentions to bring “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” to Nintendo Switch. During that time, though, there was no release date revealed; hence many thought it will not be happening at all. Well, not really.
It appears that Amazon itself might have just leaked the game’s release on the titular joy-con.
Release date possibly leaked
As displayed on Amazon’s listing, everything about the game has been nicely placed. From the contents to pricing to whatnot, these have all been presented. There are even a couple of promo images, something that will stir the interest of players who have yet to buy the game. Apparently though, some of the details are good, while some are simply bad.
“The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” was previously believed to arrive to Nintendo Switch this fall. In Amazon’s listing though, the release is pointing at December 29th. In most cases, this could just be a placeholder until Bethesda itself officially announces a date.
It should be noted, however, that Amazon previously advertised the game for a November 28th release. The latter is the more plausible one considering that it falls on a Tuesday and this is the very day that titles in North America usually arrive. Regardless, this confirms that the game is coming within the year.
Why this should get the fans excited
Fortunately for the fans of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim,” Amazon has been known to give out the correct release dates of gaming titles over the course of years. If this is the case, then those who are hoping to see the game in Nintendo Switch should get excited. Add to this the fact that Nintendo has not announced a release for the above-mentioned timeline.
This is perhaps due to the Bethesda’s title and that the company simply wants to keep the dates clear for the forthcoming game.
As of this writing, the studio has remained quiet regarding the talks of “The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim” and its release on Nintendo Switch. As a matter of fact, the details about the game’s port on this platform remain a mystery. But if the release date is deemed true, then in the next few weeks or so, the community can expect some enlightenment from the video game company.
