Since time immemorial, players have been wondering if Bethesda plans to release “The Elder Scrolls 6.” While there are those who are still skeptical, some actually believe that it is happening. With the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) coming, the hype just keeps on building.
There are rumors that the studio’s E3 conference will include a big reveal, one that will surely blow the minds of people. The video game company already confirmed that two major titles, still unannounced, will make their way to the event. Interestingly, enthusiasts suggest that one of these titles is none other than “The Elder Scrolls 6.”
Game’s possible release date
Most fans of the series believe that Bethesda is not the kind of developer to rush things, and this was actually evident with previous titles they have developed.
There are those who point at a 2018 release, while some hint at a much later date. Regardless, what is more important is the day that the studio unveils the game -- something that fans have been looking forward to for a while now.
If the video game company is indeed aiming for a release next year, then it is plausible for them to bring “The Elder Scrolls 6” to E3. Besides, this event is the perfect avenue to build even more hype. Add to this the boost in the game’s popularity, and you have the perfect mix on your hands for such an unveiling.
Further speculation making the rounds seems to point to the idea that features that were never introduced in previous titles will make their way into this title.
In fact, there is a possibility that said features may have even been inspired by Bethesda's other titles such as "Fallout 4."
Hints of Bethesda bringing 'The Elder Scrolls 6' to E3
Last year’s E3 saw Bethesda’s very own Pete Hines discuss their future projects. He also confirmed during that time the number of titles they plan to work one.
Although he did not explicitly confirm the sixth “The Elder Scrolls” title, he did hint that it would be something that they would be working on eventually. Nonetheless, as already mentioned in various articles, the studio is not the type to rush things, especially for a title that will branch out from a critically-acclaimed franchise.
Whether or not “The Elder Scrolls 6” finds its way to this year’s E3, as long as the studio confirms a future release, everybody wins. After all, this has been the cherry on top of every discussion within the community. At the very least, it will put some rumors to bed.
