The next DLC confirmed to arrive to “Battlefield 1” is none other than “In the Name of the Tsar.” This content right here introduces the first female characters in the series, with the expansion focusing on the Russian army. Nonetheless, one of the main attractions of the content is the new map called Lupkow Pass.
Interestingly, a well-known YouTuber by the name of Westie uploaded a video (embedded below) featuring the aforementioned “Battlefield 1” map. As previously revealed by developer DICE, the map features a snow-covered environment where players will have to wage war in vertical battles.
The snow particularly contrasts the intensity of these fights.
The Lupkow Pass
It has been confirmed that the Lupkow Pass map will arrive to the game a month earlier than expected. As a matter of fact, this one here is part of the video game company’s promise to release new and interesting features and/or contents each month. Hence its early release in the hit shooter title.
Interestingly, the above mentioned “Battlefield 1” map is just one of the four new maps expected to arrive to the game. The remaining three will also be introduced via the forthcoming DLC “In the Name of the Tsar.” These are namely, Galicia, Albion and Brusilove Keep. Going back to the first map, its arrival will also mean the release of the game’s six new weapons.
These are the Double Barrel shotgun, the MG14 Parabellum, the Federov Avtomat rifle, the Nagant Revolver, the Mosin Nagant M19 rifle and the C93 Carbine Suppressed.
The DLC’s release
“In the Name of the Tsar” will arrive to “Battlefield 1” via an update. While there is no specific date yet, it is expected to arrive sometime in July.
This content will feature a legion hailing from Russia. Most importantly, the first female characters in the history of the franchise are also coming. These are no other than the country’s infamous Women’s Battalion of Death. They were considered lethal and have helped the nation achieve success in the titular war.
The new “Battlefield 1” expansion will be made available on PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Season Pass members will gain early access to it, with regular members getting access to it a few weeks after. As for the new map called the Lupkow Pass, it is expected to be released 30-days early come August. These are definitely something that players will be looking forward to.
