For the final time in the 2019 NFL season, let’s take a look at the players who excelled in Week 16 despite not being owned in many fantasy leagues. (While there still is Week 17, many fantasy leagues end in Week 16 due to many key players taking the last week off prior to the playoffs).

In order to be eligible for the list, the player must be owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end are highlighted.

Quarterback - Andy Dalton, Bengals (396 passing yards, 4 passing touchdowns, 1 fumble lost)

With the Bengals down 22 points to the Dolphins midway through the third quarter, Dalton led a wild rally with four second half touchdown throws (Cincinnati ended up losing in overtime). It’s the first time that Dalton has thrown that many touchdowns in a game since Week 2 of last season.

Running back - Rex Burkhead, Patriots (20 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 4 receptions, 77 receiving yards, 1 fumble lost)

After scoring just one touchdown in his first ten outings, Burkhead has reached paydirt in each of his last two games. His 77 receiving yards easily surpassed his previous season-high of 47.
