With fantasy football season nearing its end, let’s once again take a look at the weekly stars who were mostly unowned, this time for Week 15.
In order to be eligible for the list, the player must have been owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end are highlighted.
Quarterback - Ryan Fitzpatrick, Dolphins (279 passing yards, 2 passing touchdowns, 33 rushing yards, 1 fumble lost)
It was the third time in the last four games that Fitzpatrick has thrown for multiple touchdowns. During that time, he’s also added value with his feet, running for 145 yards and a score.

Running back - Tony Pollard, Cowboys (131 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown, 2 receptions, 12 receiving yards)
Pollard has been quite successful in the limited time he sees behind Ezekiel Elliott. He received more playing time due to the Cowboys easy victory over the Rams and scored on a 44-yard run with three minutes remaining.

Running back - Mike Boone, Vikings (56 rushing yards, 2 rushing touchdowns)
With backup running back Alexander Mattison missing Sunday’s game and Dalvin Cook leaving early with injury, Boone, a second-year player, easily saw his most career action in Week 15. After receiving just 11 carries as a rookie and just eight this year entering Sunday, he had 13 in Week 15.

Wide receiver - Breshad Perriman, Buccaneers (5 receptions, 113 receiving yards, 3 receiving touchdowns, 3 rushing yards)
Perriman has been known as a bust, mainly by Baltimore fans, after the Ravens selected him in the first round in 2015. Sunday’s game marked the first time he reached the century mark in receiving yards, and also was the first time he had multiple touchdown catches.
Breshad Perriman became just the fourth Bucs player to get 3+ touchdown catches in a game Sunday. Jimmie Giles has the team record with four in a 1985 loss to the Dolphins. Mike Evans had three against the Giants this year, Morris Owens had three in a 1976 loss to Dolphins.

Wide receiver - Anthony Miller, Bears (9 receptions, 118 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown)
It may be time for fantasy owners to add Miller, and perhaps even start him in Week 16’s fantasy finals if they made it that far. In his last five games, the second-year receiver has been targeted 52 times, caught 33 balls for 431 yards, and scored twice.
Anthony Miller and A.J. Brown are must-start receivers in Week 16.

Tight end - Jonnu Smith, Titans (5 receptions, 60 receiving yards, 57 rushing yards)
It’s not very often you see a tight end break out a 57-yard run, but that’s exactly what Smith did on the first play of the fourth quarter on Sunday when the Titans lined him up at tailback. According to CBS Sports, there were only three times prior to Sunday in which a tight end was clocked at over 20 miles per hour with the ball, but there were two instances in Week 15 in which Smith surpassed that mark. His five receptions and 60 receiving yards were also his best totals since Week 8.
