As we do each week, let’s take a look at the players who excelled in fantasy football despite not being owned in the majority of leagues.

For the player to be eligible to be included, they must be owned in less than 25 percent of ESPN fantasy football leagues. One quarterback, two running backs, two wide receivers, and one tight end will be highlighted every week.

1

QB - Josh Johnson, Jets (0.0%) - 317 passing yards, 3 passing touchdowns, 1 interception, 18 rushing yards

Last week, it was Mike White of the Jets to make this list. This week, it’s Johnson from the same team who came in for the injured White and threw for over 300 yards for the first time in his career.

2

RB - Devonta Freeman, Ravens (13.4%) - 79 rushing yards, 2 receptions, 4 receiving yards, 1 receiving touchdown

Freeman reached season-highs in both carries (13) and rushing yards (79). His second-quarter touchdown reception was the third straight game in which he reached the end zone.

3

RB - Jordan Howard, Eagles (8.1%) - 71 rushing yards, 1 rushing touchdown

Since Miles Sanders has missed the last two games with injury, Howard has totaled 128 rushing yards and three scores. According to ESPN, he is this week’s must-add player off waivers.

4

WR - Elijah Moore, Jets (15.3%) - 7 receptions, 84 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns

A second-round pick in this year’s draft, Moore now has 13 receptions for 151 yards over the last two games. His two touchdown catches in Week 9 were the first two of his career.

5

WR - Olamide Zaccheaus, Falcons (0.3%) - 3 receptions, 58 receiving yards, 2 receiving touchdowns

With Calvin Ridley stepping away from football, for the time being, Zaccheaus took advantage of his expanded role as he moved up the pecking order. The undrafted third-year player had just three touchdowns in his first 28 career games before scoring two in Week 9.

6

TE - Cole Kmet, Bears (12.5%) - 6 receptions, 87 receiving yards

Now in his second season. Kmet had never gone over 49 receiving yards before Monday night’s game. He has now been targeted 20 times over the Bears’ last three appearances.
