The recent developments with regard to the people's favorite animated television show "Rick and Morty" have been nothing short of comforting, given the long and tiring wait that fans have to go through between each season.

Bringing out the Big Guns

The show’s broadcaster Adult Swim has not only been busy prepping for the much-awaited release that is scheduled this November but also setting up a grand stage for the same that is both star-studded and extravagant, to say the least. Ahead of its release at the Adult Swim festival in November, the fourth season of "Rick and Morty" seems to be getting its fans even more riled up with juicy new updates in installments.

In the week that passed, Entertainment Weekly posted two exclusive first look photographs from the upcoming fourth season of the show, teasing the readers with the shenanigans that are to come this November. The photos, originally released by Adult Swim for promotional purposes has caught the undivided attention of the fanbase with their rich and vibrant details, and a good glimpse of a small portion of Rick Sanchez’s interplanetary and interdimensional adventures.

The first photo has Rick walking through what seems like an otherworldly field, looking absolutely at peace and one with himself.

This rare sight is captivating not only because of the peace radiating from our beloved protagonist but also because of the sheer beauty of the place itself.

The second photo shows Rick amidst a negotiation/argument of sorts with aliens who resemble Crocubot from the episode "Vindicators - Return of the Worldender." What this could mean is beyond our comprehension at this juncture, but boy are we excited to find out.

More details on this may or may not be disclosed at the "Rick and Morty" panel hosted by Adult Swim at the San Diego Comic-Con, although it is safe to say that attendees can expect to return with more questions than answers.

Dissecting the obvious

What is to be noticed in the images that have been released that they only seem to have Rick in them, with no sign of Morty or anybody else familiar whatsoever.

You could quickly hop into the rabbit hole of what this could mean and revel in the math of endless possibilities, or hold your horses and wait it out. Needless to say, fans are already out with their theories, breaking down every nifty little detail they can spot. For more details on any developments whatsoever, stay tuned.

Behold, the very first photos from "Rick and Morty"'s long-long awaited season 4, until we get a new trailer which the network would be supposedly releasing during the Comic-con this year. Until then, Wubba-lubba-dub-dub.
