Every year, many players and teams disappoint their fans by having a bad season or missing the playoffs. It's especially bad when players or teams have high expectations coming into the season but fail to live up to the expectations that were set out for them. Below are some players and teams that disappointed fans this NBA season.

1

Los Angeles Lakers

Easily the biggest disappointment this season, as in their first year with LeBron, the Lakers failed to do much. The Lakers finished with a 37-45 record and finished 11 games out of a playoff spot. Throughout the season, they dealt with a lot of injuries and also made horrible trade deadline moves that included trading promising young center Ivica Zubac to the Clippers. Also, Magic Johnson announced that he is stepping down from his role with the Lakers, which makes things even more of a mess.
