Though there aren't too many teams looking to trade away players in the American League, the National League features more teams that are willing to let go of major league pieces for the promise of future assets. Here are National League players that could find themselves traded before the 2021 season starts.

1

Kris Bryant- 3B/OF

Bryant didn't have a good 2020 season, slashing .206/.293/.351. But, that was just a bad year in otherwise a good career where he's slashed .280/.380/.508 with 142 HR.

2

Sonny Gray- SP

Despite being owed just $20.2 million over the next two seasons with a club option for a third year, the Reds are listening to offers on Gray. He was 5-3 with a 3.70 ERA while striking out 72 batters compared to 42 hits given up for an opponent average of .203 in 56 innings pitched.

3

Jameson Taillon- SP

Taillon didn't pitch in 2020 as he was recovering from Tommy John Surgery but, for his career, he's 29-24 with a 3.67 ERA. The Yankees have inquired about his services.
