After the parties are over, the presents have been exchanged, and you're winding down from the cheer of Christmas, you might start to realize how much free time you have, and, as an adult, who is likely used to a monotonous work pattern, you may find yourself becoming very quickly bored. We do not condone taking your boredom out on the wall, but to stop you feeling like this:
I've compiled a small list of suggestions to scare off the mind-numbing feeling that is being bored.
Marathon
No, not the running kind. Though, if you were up for training for one, I certainly wouldn't stop you.
I'm talking about grabbing a stack of movies, a few friends, some popcorn, ordering in, and having a solid 12-hour+ movie marathon.
- "Star Wars" (not the new ones): 13 hours
- "Harry Potter": 20 hours
- "Lord of the rings" and the "Hobbit": 17 hours
- "Pirates of Caribbean": 10 hours
- "Fast and Furious": 13 hours
- A selection of Marvel movies: ... Who knows? Days.
- A selection of Pixar or Dreamworks movies... See above.
And if your friends aren't free? What's stopping you from going solo?
Movie Theater
Movie Theaters usually only close for Christmas day, and there are some fantastic movies that will be running over the Christmas period, and in the run up to New Year's.
- "Star Wars: The Last Jedi" - December 15, 2017.
- "The Greatest Showman" - December 20, 2017.
- "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" - December 20, 2017.
- "Pitch Perfect 3" - December 22, 2017.
- "Downsizing" - December 22, 2017.
