The recent trailer of “Teen Wolf” season 6 has undeniably surprised fans who are patiently waiting for the MTV series to return. While the series is near its end, avid followers still want a happy ending, or for Scott McCall to have a decent love life at the very least.
One cannot help but worry about what is going to happen next when the tagline of your favorite show is “Be Afraid.” There are things that fans can imagine, and other things that fans don't want to see.
What viewers have to 'Be afraid' of in ‘Teen Wolf’
1. Scott may lose his power as the True Alpha.
If there is one thing we have learned in the previous seasons, Scott McCall (Tyler Posey) is a unique wolf. There are three kinds of wolves and McCall was able to experience them all. He became an Omega (lone wolf), a Beta (member of a pack) and Alpha (leader).
However, unlike other Alphas, Scott did not achieve his evolution by killing a fellow Alpha. Instead, he became one through the strength of his character and force of his will but unfortunately, he could lose his Alpha position and may become a Beta again.
It is possible because this happened to Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) once, after saving his sister Cora, MTV revealed.
2. Stiles in danger again.
Stiles (Dylan O’Brien) may have been in a pitiful situation in season 5, but being possessed by a Nogitsune in season 3 is surely something fans do not want to witness again. Sadly, “Teen Wolf” season 6’s recent trailer brought us the feeling that it could happen again. In the past, Scott’s ultimate best friend has usually been the leverage behind every villain character.
3.The end of Beacon Hills.
Scott and his pack are about to face a dangerous antagonist in season 6. Beacon Hills was almost conquered by supernatural beings in season 5 and now the threat has returned again.
Banshee Lydia Martin (Holland Roden) shared in the teaser, “When we opened the door to another world, something came out with us.”
Scott’s love life
No one can seem to understand why Scott and Malia were having a steamy scene in the shower. Stiles and Malia haven’t had closure since he returned in Beacon Hills. On the other hand, Scott is too occupied about the things going on and he was never the type to make decisions drastically. That is especially true when it comes to having a romantic relationship.
On a brighter note, the show returns on July 30 and viewers will see the long-awaited explanations. Scott and his friends are expected to be a more powerful team with the return of few familiar faces. Some returnees include Stiles, Derek, Ethan, and Colton Haynes’ Jackson.
