Samsung is expected to introduce the much-awaited Galaxy Note 8 smartphone towards the end of August. The South Korean tech giant is also further speculated to accompany the launch with the company’s iconic S stylus pen. The latest report now suggests that alleged renders of the S Pen have surfaced online. On the basis of the leaked images, it is safe to assume that the upcoming Samsung S Pen is going to look a lot like the one that accompanied the Galaxy Note 7 smartphone last year.

All new stylus or S Pen

A report published by Slash Leaks shows supposed images of the Samsung stylus S Pen that is expected to come equipped with the Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.

On the basis of the information provided through the image, it is safe to assume that Samsung isn’t planning on implementing any major changes to its digital pen. The only visible difference between last year’s S Pen and the upcoming S Pen is the size. The latter appears slightly longer than the former. Other than that, the two resemble the same design, and the placement of buttons is similar as well. It was reported sometime last month that Samsung is planning on shipping its phablet along with the S Pen as well.

The added accessory is expected to enhance the capabilities of the smartphone. In fact, the upcoming Samsung S Pen will also come with support for multiple-pressure levels. Since the latest technology is also out, it seems like the upcoming smartphone will also come equipped with added versatility.

Apart from this, Samsung’s stylus S Pen is also speculated to come with the support of converting and translating currency. In other words, Samsung Note 8 users will now be able to make use of multiple functional shortcuts when they want to manipulate or convert content that is selected from the web, a Word document, or any other place.

Always-On Display (AOD) features

According to a report published by Android Headlines, Samsung is expected to include the Always-On Display (AOD) along with the ability to showcase digital sticky notes with its upcoming Galaxy Note 8 smartphone that is scheduled to be available for sale sometime in September. This is where the iconic stylus S Pen will also come into use.

The digital pen is expected to allow users to sketch, write, and do so much more with their phablets.

However, none of the above given information has been confirmed by the company as yet. Therefore, the readers are advised to take the information with a grain of salt.
