The last time Houston was crowned a city of champions in the sporting world was way back in 1995 when the Houston Rockets won their second consecutive NBA title.

Now 22 years later, the Houston faithful can celebrate the first title for the boys of summer. According to ABC13 in Houston, Texas, the Astros' 2017 World Series championship parade is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m. local time on Friday, November 3.

For locals who are planning on attending the parade first hand, all the festivities are expected to start at the corner of Smith and Lamar Streets, just a couple blocks away from Sam Houston Park. From there, the parade will then continue north on Smith Street before heading downtown.

Now if you are an Astros fan, but can’t make it to the parade first hand, don’t worry. You can catch all of the action live nationally on the MLB Network and streaming live via MLB.com.
