Just two days ago the Phoenix Mercury hosted a battle against the Minnesota Lynx. Unfortunately, that game went the way of the visitors and also saw Phoenix lose the league's top scorer Brittney Griner to several injuries. Diana Taurasi and the Mercury will get a chance to steal a road win against the league's best team on Sunday night, but it will be a tough task without Griner available. Here's the latest look at today's WNBA game preview including odds and how to watch it live streaming online or via television.

WNBA game preview

At 11-7 overall and 5-2 away, the Phoenix Mercury will be in a tough spot tonight without their top player.

Griner is out of action for up to a month due to the knee bone bruise and right ankle sprain she suffered on Friday in the fourth quarter against the Lynx. Her team ended up losing the game 88-71 on their home floor. Now they try to win at Xcel Energy Center without their star center in the lineup.

In Friday's win, the Minnesota Lynx received 18 points and 10 rebounds from their recently-named All-Star center Sylvia Fowles. Fellow WNBA All-Star Maya Moore and teammate Seimone Augustus each added 19 in the win. The victory moved Minnesota to 14-2 overall as they continue to sit atop the WNBA standings ahead of the All-Star break. Currently, the Los Angeles Sparks trail the Lynx by two games for the top spot.

Due to Griner's absence and Minnesota's record, the Lynx are listed as a -15.5 favorite on the point spread. On the money line, Phoenix is a +975 to +1000 underdog depending on the book, while Minnesota is as much as a -2500 favorite. The over/under points total is at 162.5 points for the complete game. The Lynx have dominated the previous 10 meetings between these two teams, winning all 10 of the matchups including the two they've played so far this season.
