Ever since "Game of Thrones" Season 7 has started, fans have been wondering about what is Littlfinger up to. While most of them agree that he will die this season, some theorize that he has a few more aces up his sleeve. He might align himself with Cersei once again or perhaps even seize all the power for himself. In any case, he should put his plans into motion because his stay in Winterfell could get him killed. And a scene from Season 7 Episode 3 is just proof that that moment might come sooner than he thinks. You can check it out down below.

The scene breakdown

As you can see, the scene opens up with the conversation between Sansa, Yohn Royce, Maester Wolken and Littlefinger. Sansa is concerned about whether the food supply will be enough for them to survive the winter. Yohn Royce tells her that the supply will be enough just for one year. Then Sansa asks Maester Wolken what's the longest winter in the past hundred years to which he replies that he needs to check Maester Luwin records. He then proceeds to tell her how Luwin kept copies of every raven's scroll. And this is where we can see how Littlefinger turns to Maester Wolken with a troubled look on his face.

Why might Littlefinger be in trouble?

As we can see in the teaser preview, Sansa will be reading some letters in the next episode, possibly the ones Maester Wolken brought her.

There, she might see the correspondence between Littlefinger and Roose Bolton and perhaps some letter that proves that Littlefinger knew what kind of a person Ramsey was. However, it seems like Littlefinger himself is mostly concerned with Maester Lewin's records. Perhaps there is a letter that confirms Littlefinger's betrayal over Ned Stark, and that is something that the Starks can't forgive.

Also, let's not forget the fact that Bran Stark is now also in Winterfell and he could easily expose Littlefinger. After all, he is now able to see everything that has ever happened to anyone.

What could Littlefinger do?

Given the fact that Arya is coming back to Winterfell in the next episode, we can easily see Baelish trying to tear two sisters apart.

Also in the teaser trailer, there is a shot of Littlefinger drawing the dagger - the same one that was used in an assassination attempt on Bran Stark when he was in the coma back in season one. Perhaps he will try to murder Bran once again, and that would be the end of him since Bran will be surrounded by two fierce sisters who will execute Littlefinger or maybe Sansa will order Brienne to do the deed.
