Former "19 Kids and Counting" star Anna Duggar debunked rumors that she had given birth to her fifth child. A very pregnant Anna appeared in a Twitter photo with Patch the Pirate at the church which sponsors Reformers Unanimous, the faith-based sex addiction rehab program which her husband Josh Duggar attended. Josh's incest and pedophilia scandals crumbled the first reality TV show, but TLC brought them back in "Counting On." Now there's a rumor that Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar may bring Josh and Anna back and this is polarizing fans.
Anna Duggar's baby may get family back on reality TV
Scripture says that "a child shall lead them" and Josh Duggar is "Counting On" his 5th to do just that. Viewers who won't watch a pedophile, identity thief, cheater, porn and sex addict, might tune in to see the his kids. Derick and Jill Dillard and Ben and Jessa Seewald brought views in droves with their new little ones. Say what they will about the Ashley Madison cyber-cheater dad, critics would very likely watch for the pregnancy and birth. Or at least just for the schadenfreude.
Josh Duggar 'Counting On' TLC to fix problems?
"19 Kids and Counting" critics have accused Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar of exploiting the kids and then blaming others for their mistakes.
Jill, Jessa and Jana Duggar have become rich off the reality show and book deal. Joy-Anna Duggar is new to social media, but is already begging for gifts for Joseph Duggar and Kendra Caldwell. Jill, Jessa, Joy-Anna and Jinger Duggar are "Counting On" profiting from the sex scandal, suing police for divulging their names as incest victims.
Should Josh Duggar return to TLC?
Diehard Duggar supporters have been long been canting on Facebook and Twitter about forgiveness for Josh Duggar. They certainly don't think that the sins of the father should be visited on his children. They feel that he should be welcomed back to "Counting On" with open arms. Reality television earnings would certainly come in handy for the unemployed, cash-strapped celebrity dad of 5.
But not everyone, including Anna, feels that way. She believes that Jim Bob's and Michelle Duggar's show "19 Kids and Counting" is part of the reason he went astray.
Would you watch Josh and Anna Duggar?
Whether the oldest of the "19 Kids and Counting" should come back or not isn't the issue, at least not with Reality TV. The question with these "celebrities" is ratings and face it, incest and pedophilia scandals are good for views, regardless of how wholesome TLC or the Duggar Family purport to be. But as God-fearing, Bible-beating Christians, the "Counting On" clan answers to a higher authority. And it would be interesting to hear His take on all this.
