The actress is famous for her role as Elena Gilbert and her very public romance with another “The Vampire Diaries” co-star Ian Somerhalder. According to Inquisitr, the actress shared a close relationship with Paul. However, due to lack of strong commitment to them, Nina moved on with Glen.

The 28-year-old actress was the major face behind the popularity of “The Vampire Diaries” show.
After she parted ways with Somerhalder, she reportedly decided to move on and left the show immediately after her ex-boyfriend tied the knot with Nikki Reed.
The rating and the viewership of the show “The Originals” are likely to hit the sky after Dobrev will join the cast. Since her exit from “TVD” had a massive impact on the show as well as its ratings in a way that they had a big time drop, it is speculated that “The Originals” will gain ratings.
Somerhalder’s ex will be the natural choice for supernatural vampire show, as she will allegedly be portraying the character of a vampire once again. After her split with ex-boyfriend Somerhalder, Dobrev asked the show’s producers to let her character die. She portrayed Elena Gilbert on the show, and she made an exit soon after the end of her love life.
Dobrev is set to make a comeback as soon as things get finalized with the producers and creator Julie Plec, as reported by Hall of Fame.
However, the actress has not confirmed her appearance on the show yet. Ian Somerhalder has confirmed in the past that he will not be interested in making a comeback in the series.
