It's the all new "Rick and Morty" season 3 coming to Netflix but did you know that the first episode of the comedy sci-fi entitled "Rickshank and Rickdemption" has already aired on the Adult Swim? According to The Independent, the first episode of the series came out on April Fool's Day this year, but the succeeding episodes were noticeably absent. And now, Netflix has confirmed the arrival of the new season starting this end of July.

'Rick and Morty' on Netflix

In a separate announcement by the Adult Swim and Netflix, "Rick and Morty" Season 3 is indeed coming this July 30 and airs on the Netflix streaming service every Sunday until the last episode on October 8, 2017.

Meanwhile, Netflix is expected to air the episodes a week later than that from the Adult Swim channel. Both channels did not confirm the reason for the delay.

In order to appease the fans with the long wait, the Adult Swim network has also released a trailer showing what to expect in the upcoming episodes of the show. But here's another interesting thing about the new season; the return of the limited Szechuan Sauce by McDonald's. At the recent San Diego Comic Con, Justin Roiland, the co-creator of the show implied that he has been in contact with the popular food chain. McDonald's chef Mike did not disappoint Roiland as the latter, later on, took on to twitter the Szechuan Sauce he received from the food chain.

History of the limited edition Szechuan Sauce

Luckily for the fans, McDonald's confirmed that a limited edition will also be available to them, but it was not indicated how much more is available. But if you look at McDonald's latest tweet, at least three containers of the Szechuan Sauce was posted, meaning they are about to bring back the popular treat alongside the launching of Season 3 on the Adult Swim Network.

If you haven't seen the latest update on the show's trailer, it features the soundtrack "Bonkers" by Dizzee Rascals. Of course, most of the details of the upcoming season came from the San Diego Comic Con wherein, the creators of the series were able to reveal the story concept of the new season.

Creator Dan Harmon, on the other hand, confirmed that the new season of "Rick and Morty" will have 14 episodes, the longest among the three seasons. For those who are wondering, the first season consisted of 11 episodes while the second season had ten episodes. So far, the title of the second episode has also been revealed and it's entitled "Rickmancing the Stone."
