“The Walking Dead” Season 7 officially ended on Sunday with a bang. As it will take a while before fans see the show’s eighth season, they will be first treated with the return of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 3.
AMC already revealed the official release of the horror television series this summer and viewers of the show are now excited. It will be officially seen back to the small screens on June 4, and it will be simulcast in the UK and the U.S.
Airing and simulcast
Fans over the UK and the U.S. will enjoy the season premiere of “Fear the Walking Dead” Season 3 as it is set to run for two hours.
BT announced that it will be watched in the UK channel of AMC on 2 in the morning of June 5 and will be replayed at 9 in the evening.
It, too, can be simulcast for free on the BT Showcase channel on Freeview. The show will be composed of 16 episodes, and the first half will be aired for six weeks. Just like the premiere episode, its midseason finale will also run for two hours on July 10.
Teaser photos, official synopsis revealed
AMC also revealed teaser photos of "The Walking Dead" spin-off featuring Alicia (Alycia Debnam Carey), Victor (Colman Domingo), and Ofelia (Mercedes Masohn) along with another group. The spin-off series also has two new characters that will be played by Emma Caulfield and Daniel Sharman.
From the photos, Ofelia can be seen with a new rebellious look. Victor, on the other hand, seems bored of their situation. Aside from the snap, the network also released the show’s official synopsis. Here, the show’s characters will all return to the U.S.-Mexico border.
“International lines done away with following the world’s has reconnected with Travis (Cliff Curtis), her apocalyptic partner, but Alicia has been fractured by her murder of Andres,” it read.
“Madison’s son mere miles from his mother, Nick’s (Frank Dillane) first action as a leader saw Luciana (Danay Garcia) ambushed by an American militia group – the couple escaped death, but Nick no longer feels immortal.”
Strand (Colman Domingo) will be seen moving on from her emotional and physical turmoil while trying to controlling the world’s new currency. Ofelia, too, will test her ability to survive after being captive and see if she can escape the cruelty of her father.
