Major changes are coming to “Tom Clancy’s The Division” in the soon-to-be-released Update 1.7. Fans will see the addition of Global Events, Classified Gear, Commendations System and other features in this massive update.
Ubisoft has yet to release the full details of the next massive update and confirm its release date, but, in its bid to whet the appetite of fans, the development team offers a glimpse at the major changes to expect. The new system aims to offer additional variety and unique options in the loot pool, to add more diverse growth to the current build, and to provide players new stuff to hunt.
Global event to introduce Classified Gear
The addition of Classified Gear is created to let gamers hunt at the end of the game while at max gear score but not affecting their present gear. The Global Event will introduce Classified Gear on a global level that will enlist players in regular events with definite rules and yardstick.
Completion of specific missions during the event will give players Global Event Tokens, which will be used in getting Classified Gear Caches.
500 Commendations considered
Meanwhile, Commendations are built-in achievement system that will be introduced into “Tom Clancy’s The Division” that will provide players with tasks and rewards. The development team is considering over 500 different Commendations that will support all modes and aspects of the game, including both PvP and PvE.
There are three types of Commendations at the moment and these include Challenge where players are tasked to complete an action with requisites increasing the challenge. Another Commendation is Statistical, where players are tasked to achieve a milestone in a specific statistic. The third one is Checklist, where players are tasked to complete a checklist of actions that are related to one another.
Other new features coming
There are also other new features to expect from Update 1.7 for "Tom Clancy's The Division". In the latest update, players can re-customize their characters using the mirror option in a new room in the Terminal. They can easily enter into the locker room and bathroom to gain access.
