"Call of Duty" was one of the most pristine and historic franchise games ever created in history. It is safe to say that the series has fallen off in recent years. The older games are much better than the newer games that have come out. Now, "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare," one of the best COD games ever made will be coming out on June 27 for the PS4.

'Call of Duty' remaster coming

The standalone game will be coming out on June 27Th on the PlayStation 4. It will be available in stores and on the PlayStation Network. The game will have improved graphics, along with audio and an updated multiplayer mode.

The game sold very well when it first came out having a great story, multiplayer, and characters. It was something special and was one of the best shooters of its time.

Coming out on other consoles?

There is still no confirmation about the game coming out on the PC and Xbox One although there is a high chance that it will come out onto these systems as well.

The game could come out onto other consoles about a month after or more. Sony is continuing to show that it is the best console to play on and they are giving customers what they want. It can be argued that a lot of people did not buy the remastered edition because it was included with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" and customers did not want to get both games.

The standalone edition is only $40.00, compared to getting "Infinite Warfare" with the game for 60 bucks. However, a customer can get both for less than $60.00 now because the bundle has been out for quite some time now.

"Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" remastered will do well on the PS4. Many are going to buy this standalone game because of the enhanced graphics, which are the best on the PlayStation 4 and improved multiplayer with additional maps.

Focus on 'Call of Duty's' next game

"Call of Duty" is pushing forward with its next installment in the series taking place in World War II. It will be coming out on November 3rd by developer Sledgehammer games. The franchise is steering away from futuristic settings, which it should be. Fans were definitely sick of the same game year in and year out and the series has not been successful in recent years and has fallen off.

The company is hoping to go back to what made "Call of Duty" games great with an intriguing story, addictive co-op zombies mode, amazing multiplayer and interesting characters. The latest game will also include a zombies mode. The beta will be coming out on August 25 until August 28 on PS4. It will also be on Xbox running from September 1 to 4.

Activision is giving fans something to play until the next installment. Fans will be able to play "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare" remastered in the meantime. "Call of Duty" fans can surely not wait for the remastered version coming out on June 27th.
