Toward the end of June, UMIDIGI announced a new series of smartphones. The brand introduced the UMIDIGI One series and is about to start a new sales campaign. The Shenzhen-based brand announced on July 29 the sale of the UMIDIGI One and One Pro at a discount price via AliExpress.

The start of the sale will begin on August 6, which is bound to draw interested customers with its affordable pricing. At the same time, the Chinese-based company published on July 26 a side-by-side video comparing its One series phones versus the Huawei Honor 10 device.

The video compared both devices over several categories, but Huawei came away with the victory. Performance wise, the Honor 10 device is solid, but costs twice as much for these UMIDIGI touchscreen devices. So, for money-conscious consumers, it is probably worth checking out these latest products by UMIDIGI.

Specs on the UMIDIGI One series

The One series sports a 5.9-inch screen with a 19:9 full-screen in-cell display. In addition, the display takes up nearly 90 percent of the front surface. Also, the device comes with a fingerprint sensor on the side of the phone instead of the rear of the phone. This design choice and location makes the phone that much more compact.

The processor chip is the Helio P23 SoC and comes with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.

The storage capacity on the UMIDIGI One Pro is 64GB. Having enough memory or storage is essential since the device comes with a dual camera with a resolution of 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel. According to Gizmo China, the One Pro features both wired and wireless fast charging. Moreover, the device supports near field communication (NFC), and VoLTE support in both sims.

If you are not sure about cell phone coverage, both UMIDIGI phones come fully supported with global networks with seven network modes, and 36 global bands. In other words, you can use it in many places around the world hassle free.
