The Kensington Palace announced via Twitter that the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is pregnant with her third child. The press release added that the Queen and their family members are happy about this announcement.
“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are very pleased to announce that the Duchess of Cambridge is expecting their third child,” the official statement said. Prince Harry, the brother of Prince William, is among the royal members who expressed his congratulations to the couple. The baby will be the new sibling of their couple’s first son Prince George, who was born in 2013.
Princess Charlotte, their first daughter born in 2015, is also set to welcome the new member of the Royal family very soon.
The Kensington Palace also revealed that Kate Middleton is once again suffering from a pregnancy condition known as Hyperemesis Gravidarum. She has suffered from this condition before, during her previous pregnancies. As a result, the press release said that her supposed appearance in an engagement event at the Hornsney Road Children’s Centre in London has been canceled. Right now, Royal officials said that the Duchess is staying at Kensington Palace.
Early announcement
The Evening Standard published a report saying that the new member of the Royal family will either bear the title of Prince or Princess of Cambridge.
His or her mother Kate will return to the same hospital where George and Charlotte were born, the St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington. It has been said that the announcement was made during the first scanning of the pregnant Duchess. It was also announced immediately after the 20th death anniversary of Princess Diana, Prince William’s mother.
The publication also noted that the announcement came in as very historic, since it was made during the final stages of preparations for the Prince George’s life chapter, his first day at school. He is already four years old. An aide told Daily Mail Online that this is an important day in the baby’s life, and it is just normal for a mother to be with him on his first day of school.
But with the recent events, she will have to decide and do her best to be there with George.
