Prince Harry is once again going to be uncle to a newborn baby, as the Kensington Palace announced that his brother Prince William and Kate Middleton are expecting their third child. This will be the newest member of the royal family, a new sibling to Prince George and Princess Charlotte. US Weekly reported that he was very delighted for the couple. He said with a thumbs-up sign, “Fantastic! Great! Very, very happy for them!”
Apparently, Kate Middleton’s pregnancy has repercussions on Prince Harry in a very major way. First, the arrival of the third baby will require him to move over as the sixth in line to the throne, to give way to the newborn, News.com.au reported.
Because of this distant position from the British crown, Prince Harry is close to the point where he does not have to ask Queen Elizabeth’s permission to get married to the woman he desires. According to Telegraph, there is a rule called “The Succession to the Crown Act,” which requires the first six royals to seek the Queen’s permission before marriage.
Prince Harry’s girlfriend
Prince William’s brother is currently dating “Suits” actress Meghan Markle. News.com.au reported that Harry is expected to propose to his girlfriend in the next few months.
Last August, he took Markle to an African safari as they celebrated her 36th birthday. They both set up a log cabin at the Lewa Wildlife Conservatory in Kenya that stood as their vacation home that weekend.
The couple reportedly went boating on the lake, strolled around the safari at dawn, and set up a camp below the night skies. Prince Harry has frequently visited Africa as his spiritual retreat, Yahoo! News reported.
Kate Middleton’s third baby
The baby’s due date has not been announced yet, but the Duchess of Cambridge was less than 12 weeks pregnant when the announcement was made.
Blasting News published a report that her sister, Pippa Middleton, wanted to get pregnant simultaneous to her. But it seems that the Duchess has went ahead. The announcement was made right after Princess Diana’s 20th death anniversary, and just before her son Prince George’s first day in school.
Her mother, Carole Middleton offered her a visit at Kensington Palace to check her condition, the Daily Mail Online reported.
Carole was seen leaving the Palace and riding a Land Rover. She might have checked on her health condition, as it has been reported that she is currently suffering from severe morning sickness due to her pregnancy. She has suffered from the condition during her last two pregnancies with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
