When the Global Sources Mobile Electronics Fair took place, the UMIDIGI Z2 series was unveiled. The UMIDIGI company announced on May 9 the Z2 Pro flagship phones launch and it included additional details of these smartphone models. One of the highlights in anticipation and arrival of this model was the Helio P60 chipset. It includes an octa-core and AI within the chip.

Now the colors come with a gradient and twilight finish. In addition, it also contains a quad 16-megapixel and eight-megapixel AI camera. This will also support a 15W charger for this UMIDIGI series.

Physical appearance, design, and display details

According to Gizmo China, the UMIDIGI seems to have elements integrated from another smartphone brand. Specifically, the Z2 series is taking characteristics from the Huawei P20.

So, the measurements for these devices are 153.4 x 74.4 x 8.3 millimeters. The weight is 165 grams. As reported above, it is a slightly thinner and lighter phone than the Huawei. The size of the display is 6.2 inches and has a 19:9 ratio FHD. Furthermore, it has a super full display and possesses a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Another feature revealed is the 7000-series is the aluminum frame. The body is surrounded by a four-sided glass, which enables the device for quick wireless charging.

Colors are an important feature for consumers as they want to show off these phones. The gradient options are phantom, twilight, and black as a classic choice.

The other revelation made on these Z2 series phones is the specifics with regard to the colors. Apparently, the twilight and phantom colors have an innovative gradient look and feel to them on the backside of the phones.

One insight into the Helio P60 is its multi-core AI processing unit capabilities. It has dual quick charging, and 15W Qi fast wireless charging. Within the Gizmo China analysis, it states it is considered the fastest wireless in the globe.

Other features, benefits, and pricing of the Z2 series

If you thought a face unlock was reserved for high-end models, that is not always the case. The UMIDIGI Z2/Z2 Pro series comes with a fingerprint reader on the back of the device.

As to which carriers these devices support, there are options. It comes with a variety of bands and they support seven network modes including 36 global bands.
