Samsung is all set to introduce its new upcoming mid budget oriented smartphone dubbed Galaxy J7+. Yes, it's the refreshed version of Galaxy J7 which was launched earlier this year.

Samsung Galaxy J7+ will be the second smartphone to have dual rear camera setup by the brand after Galaxy Note 8. The device is going to focus on giving Dual Camera setup to a mid-budget segment which has already been done by various other brands.

Galaxy J7+ leaked specification

The successor of Galaxy J7 is likely to sport a new "ISO Cell" dual image sensors. The device will be housing Samsung's own Exynos 7870 chipset with 4GB of RAM.

You will get just 32GB of internal storage which is expandable via micro SD card. There is no dedicated micro SD slot but a hybrid sim tray which can have two Sim cards.

Samsung Galaxy J7+ will be rocking a 5.5-inch Full HD display and a full metal body. Samsung's very own AI, Bixby, will also be present on this smartphone. Actually, Samsung is now rolling out Bixby in many of their devices. The device will be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 operating system and a 3000 mAH battery capacity.

The USP for this upcoming device is the dual rear camera setup which is becoming a kind of a necessity since its arrival. The rear panel of the device will feature a dual camera with a 13MP and 5MP camera sensors.

The 5MP camera comes with an aperture f/1.9 and a 13MP sensor features a f/1.7 aperture.

There might be a high 16MP camera on the front panel and front LED flash. Looking at the camera specifications, we can say the device basically focusses on camera performance.

Launch date and Availability

Most likely, the device will first launch in Thailand and then will be available in rest of the markets.

The smartphone is expected to arrive in three colors variants - black, pink and gold color.

There is no word on the launch date and pricing of the smartphone but we are expecting some more leaks in the future. I will keep you guys updated on the same.

The biggest question is will Samsung be able to pull this off with this mid-segment device?

The competition is pretty stiff in the mid-budget segment. Almost every other brand is offering the same specification without asking you to spend some big bucks. The key to pulling off this budget segment is going to be the pricing. If the pricing is done right, with this specification, the smartphone might become the favorite budget device out there in the market.
