Galaxy S8 vs G6

The Samsung Galaxy S8 was originally unveiled to the public during late March, while the LG G6 had been unveiled in February at the Mobile World Congress. The displays for both of the models are almost the same size with the Samsung model coming in at 5.8 inches and the LG model measuring 5.7 inches.

The S8 also has a higher resolution of the screen at 2960 by 1440 with Dolby vision technology with curves that extend to both sides of the phone. The LG model has a screen resolution of 2880 by 1440.

The sizes are also similar with the new Samsung Galaxy S8 coming in smaller with a measurement of 5.86 by 2.68 inches, while the new LG G6 measures at 5.86 by 2.83 inches. Samsung and LG both used the same brand of processor, which came from Qualcomm, but LG had used the earlier model, while Samsung used the newest option. Both of the models have 4 GB of ram, but when it comes to internal space the S8 has 64GB and can be expanded to 256GB, while the LG model has only 32GB of space.

When it comes to Note 8, it is different from S8 and G6.

Galaxy Note 8: A phablet

After a major failure with its previous phone Samsung is now set to launch its next flagship model Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Samsung's Phablet has a 6.4-inch screen size with 4K resolution and infinity display. It also sports QHD+ OLED display with minimal bezels, just like the S8 and S8 Plus. The phone has a dual-lens camera with 3x optical zoom and Telephoto and wide-angle lenses.

It marks the 12MP wide-angle lens and a 13MP telephoto one, and you'll be able to combine them for a 3x optical zoom.

The battery is 3,300mAh and with 3GHz+ octa-core processor and the latest Android Nougat. The phablet features the 6GB RAM. It also has a 3.1, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector port. A fingerprint scanner built into the back panel of the and Bixby AI 2.0.

The phone will be available in four variants namely - Gold, Silver, Black and Blue. It is expected to be available from 15 September.

When it comes down to the LG G6 vs Galaxy S8 debate there are only a few items that would make a difference. Both of the phones have run on the Android based platform and have nearly the same size screens in terms of resolution as well as overall size.
