News, rumors, and speculation related to LG’s next iteration in the V series are mounting up on the internet. LG Electronics appears to be all set to launch its LG V30 Android smartphone. Ahead of the mobile device’s official announcement, the tech company decided to explain in detail its premium audio features.

The company took to its official online Newsroom to discuss in detail the smartphone’s audio functions. The tech company also explained why the upcoming smartphone is the perfect mobile device, with a personalized sound experience.

The tech giant made it known that the LG V30 Android smartphone will indeed arrive with a Hi-Fi DAC.

According to Tech Radar, LG collaborated with B&O Play for the smartphone’s audio technology. B&O Play CEO, John Mollanger, stated that music enthusiasts can expect the LG V30 smartphone to have their headphones’ quality. Mollanger also said that they are excited for their long-term collaboration with the South Korean tech company to satisfy music enthusiasts around the world.

Smartphone with Advanced Hi-FI Quad DAC

The smartphone’s 32-bit Advanced Hi-FI Quad DAC (Digital to Analog Converter) will be powered by the SABRE ES9218P of ESS Technology, Android Central reported. LG V30 users would definitely be provided with digital filters as well as sound presets. The tech company claimed that unlike its predecessor’s Quad DAC, the forthcoming smartphone will provide more customizable options.

LG V30 users can adjust the sound quality of the digital filters to match their preference. The sound presets, on the other hand, could offer four optimal pre-programmed audio settings - bass, live, enhanced and detailed. Because of the said audio features, the company claimed that LG V30 users can enjoy high-quality audio without the use of a high-priced headsets.

Specs of the handset

Meanwhile, the latest leaked image of the LG V30 seems to claim that the device will sport a 6-inch QHD+ plastic-OLED panel with 1440 x 2880 pixel resolution, protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor, paired with a 4GB of RAM and a 64GB of internal storage.

The mobile device will be equipped with a Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5.0, A-GPS, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, proximity, and accelerometer. The company is anticipated to announce the mobile device at the IFA 2017 event on Aug. 31. The LG V30 is expected to arrive in the U.S. on Sept. 28.
