It has been a long time since Lenovo launched its last smartphone and now the Chinese multinational technology company will release K8 Note. This new model has stellar specifications, a very surprising dual rear cameras, and a larger battery.
Lenovo promised the world that they will switch to stock Android for all of their future gadget releases. And it seems like the tech company is keeping its word with the release of its latest flagship model, the K8 Note.
Lenovo switches to stock Android
The model is the realization of Lenovo’s promise of switching to stock Android.
The new flagship model boasts of its dual camera set-up on the phones rear portion. The K8 Note is the first model to feature dual back cameras in the Lenovo’s roster of gadgets.
The new model does not solely bank on its powerful back camera. Selfie lovers will surely have fun with the phone’s front camera which comes with a LED flash. The rear camera is 13-megapixels and the front is 5-megapixels.
The feature and specs of Lenovo K8 Note
On top of its powerful rear and front cameras, the new K8 Note comes with a set of exciting specs and features. The model is equipped with 4000mAh battery that promises to deliver up to 24.7 hours of talk time 378 hours of standby time. The phone is bundled with 15W rapid charger.
The model is housed in a slash and water resistant nano-coating. The phone’s body is made of 5000-series aluminum.
This latest Lenovo gadget is powered by stock Android 7.1.1 which is in compliance with the company’s novel philosophy off utilizing pure Android in place of its Vibe Pure UI. This venture aims to achieve faster upgrades and promote overall improvement in performance.
The K8 Note comes in two variants. The first one comes with a 3GB RAM and a 32GB storage. The second variant is equipped with a 4GB RAM and a 64GB storage. The device also sports a dedicated microSD card which is expandable to 128GB. There are two colors to choose from, Fine Gold and Venom Black. The phone has two Nanon SIM slots.
It boasts a 5.5-inch full-HD display in 1080x1920 pixels and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
The model’s dimensions are 154.5x75.9x8.5mm and weighs 180 grams. On board this Lenovo smartphone are ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, gyroscope, accelerometer and magnetometer. The rear back panel bears a fingerprint sensor. Finally, the smartphones boasts of its Dolby Atmos support that significantly improve audio performance.
