LG is working on the launch of its much-awaited, flagship device called LG V30. The upcoming handset serves as the successor to last year’s LG V20 and apparently has a lot of major specifications packed into it that are enough to give tough competition to other big smartphones in the market including Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. It seems like there won’t be a lot of difference between LG V30 and Samsung’s Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones, at least as far as the design is concerned. What are described as alleged renders, have apparently surfaced on the social media platform Twitter, revealing the full design of the upcoming LG V30 smartphone.

The device will be the flagship smartphone of the company and will compete with other high-end devices.

Smartphone leaked online

A prolific leaker that goes by the name of ‘Ice Universe,’ recently posted alleged renders of the upcoming LG V30 smartphone. The device has been shown off in its full-fledged form, and it seems like the handset shares a lot of similarities with its arch-rival samsung galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones. On the basis of the image, it can be observed that just like the Galaxy S8 Plus, the LG V30 too comes packed with curved sides. The smartphone also further goes on to sport an almost bezel-less front panel, which again is identical to the already-launched Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus smartphones.

Apart from this, many of the other factors found in the alleged render of the LG V30 smartphone that represent similarities to LG’s G6 device as well.

Specs and features

Apart from this, the alleged render also goes on to reveal that the smartphone has the official LG logo on the back side of the smartphone and not the front.

Other specifications, such as the volume up and down buttons, the power buttons and others aren’t quite visible in the image. LG is expected to launch its V30 smartphone on August 31, during the official IFA event that is scheduled to take place in Berlin. Previous leaks of the smartphone have suggested that device is going to offer either 6GB or 8GB of RAM along with an option for opting for either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

The smartphone might come with a dual rear camera setup with two 13-megapixel shooters along with the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system with LG’s custom UI on top. However, since the above-given post has not been verified by LG as yet; it is best that the news is taken with a Grain Of Salt.
