It is well-known in the market that huawei has been preparing for the launch of its next-generation flagship smartphone dubbed the ‘Mate 10,’ later this year. The device manufacturer is also heavily-speculated to be releasing a Mate 10 ‘Lite’ version of the device alongside it. Just recently, Huawei CEO made an official, ground-breaking statement, suggesting that its upcoming device is going to give a tough competition to several other flagship smartphones by big brands such as Apple, Samsung, and Nokia. Now, the leading reports that emerged online recently, have suggested that the company is going to introduce these smartphones at an event scheduled for October 16.

Release might be in October

As pointed in a report published by Gizbot, Huawei and Apple are going to be launching their respective flagship smartphones right about the same time. The Cupertino-based company is expected to launch its much-awaited iPhone 8 device towards the end of September. Meanwhile, Huawei will probably introduce its Mate 10 smartphone towards the beginning of October.

Now that a particular date for the launch of the Huawei Mate 10 has been suggested by a Poland-based media publication, Tabletowo; it seems like these two big-brands are going to come face-to-face with each other in an ultimate battle of flagship smartphones. As is already known, Apple completes 10 years with its iPhone family, and therefore, in order to commemorate this occasion, the firm is expected to pack it's iPhone 8 with the best of their features.

In fact, many feel that the iPhone 8 will be among the priciest offerings made by Apple. At the same time, even Huawei is expected to price its Mate 10 at a whopping $1,100.

Huawei’s upcoming Mate 10 smartphone is expected to come equipped with a 5.8-inch 2K display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and will probably be powered by MediaTek’s latest Kirin 970 processor.

Apart from this, the device is also expected to offer a fingerprint scanner located on the rear-end of the smartphone. On the camera front, the device is expected to have a dual rear camera setup with two 34-megapixels sensors accompanied by an LED flash and a 16-megapixels front shooter with an LED flashlight as well.
