According to a report from The Guardian, Apple’s chief executive officer, #tim cook, recently collected 560,000 shares from a 10-year deal that he signed as an incentive. The shares were worth $89.2 million based on the company’s $159.27 million closing stock price.

CEO received millions in just one day

Tim Cook receives annual payouts from the company’s huge stock award after replacing Steve Jobs in 2011.

The CEO also received another 280,000 shares for simply staying on the company. Tim Cook will receive the 560,000 shares once a year from August 2018 through August 2020. After that, he will receive 1.26 million in August 2021 as a final payment for his original Chief Executive Officer contract.

Apple TV will also have a massive update. The company will improve the display of the TV so that it will be capable of viewing 4K ultra high-definition contents.
