While 2017 also marks the ten-year anniversary of the iPhone, reports say that Apple has been working on new features for the iPhone 8. Have a look at features and specifications of the phone
The makers are planning to ditch the Touch Id Fingerprint Scanner in the phone.
In display terms, the device will have a 5.8-inch display with the A11 processor. The phone is likely to be more advanced than the iPhone 7S and 7S plus. One of the most popular rumors about iPhone 8 is that the firm is planning to leave off the home button and come up with secure unlocking on their device. The phone might also have wireless charging and it will continue to carry an IP68 rating for waterproofing and dust resistance.
The new glass design with curved display
Samsung has featured curved-edge infinity display in its newest upmarket phones. In terms of design, the phone might possess a glass body and edge-to-edge display. It will be moving away from its usual aluminum body which was seen in the iPhone 5, 5s, 6, 6s, 7, and SE.
The glass of the phone will be built around a polished stainless steel design that's similar to the Apple Watch.
From the camera perspective, the phone may have a 14-megapixel camera along with full 4K video capabilities as well as 3D filming. Also, the vertically-aligned cameras will offer a better viewing experience. Apart from that, the phone will have a new screen bearing flexible plastic OLED technology that produces better colors and maximizes power efficiency.
It will also feature a curved 2.5D display that's similar to the display used in the iPhone 7. The power button might be a lot bigger than what we usually see on other iPhone editions and this could be because Apple does have a patent technology which would let it place a fingerprint sensor in the power button.
The company wants to break all the previous sales records with the upcoming device.
Apart from its features, what creates more hype about the iPhone 8 is the fact that it will cost $200 more than its previous editions. It is also claimed to be an ultra-deluxe edition from Apple. With iPhone 7S and iPhone 7S Plus coming to the market, fans are definitely watching the iPhone 8.
