VoxWave released another Vocaloid named LEORA. She is purely made for French but she can also sing in English. Compared to ALYS, the first Vocaloid from VoxWave, she presents a rebellious attitude with some power hidden in her vocals. However, she is different from ALYS in terms of language interface. ALYS is made for French and Japanese languages while LEORA is made for French and English languages. For those who do not know ALYS, here is her sample song entitled "Hajime Ni":

An another song entitled "SHARDS" by Creep-P (Eyeris).

LEORA's voice donor is VoxWave's co-founder named TBK (TheBakaKitsune), who is a French singer in YouTube.

She also has her own UTAU named Guren Nataku.

Voicebanks

She has two Voicebanks---namely Power and Core. First, Power contains voice samples that are stronger and clearer in high notes. This Power Voicebank is perfect for rock and heavy music genres. In addition, Power voice makes her voice clearer in loud or soft music alike, depending on the voice expression and control.

Second, her Core Voicebank is the natural singing voice or the main voice. It sports a clearer tone in normal and lower notes, good for mellow or techno songs. As VoxWave mentions, she is limited in voice quality but she can be expressed in so many ways not limited to one.

Even VoxWave did a test on LEORA's French voicebank into English with Rick Astley's "Never Gonna Give You Up." The video last April 1, 2017, can be viewed below:

No English samples yet

Fans already saw French sample songs.

However, there are no English sample songs on any website yet. In time, LEORA will be used to her full potential by a number of well-known Vocaloid users. Her English voicebank is the focus for Westerners. Otherwise, voice quality is the main focus. Voice quality is important among Vocaloids because it opens gates to numerous possibilities.

If the voice quality is bad, then the range of the voice is also bad. Low-quality voices are nightmares in the Vocaloid industry.

Eager Vocaloid users can own and use LEORA for the price of $80. She can be purchased through VoxWave's official website. Famous Vocaloids such as Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, Meiko, Kaito, and Luka are some of them.

On the other hand, famous English voices are Oliver, Avanna, Prima, Tonio, Big Al, Sweet Ann, and more. There are more Vocaloids that will be released in the future. Here is the French demo song released by VoxWave via YouTube:
