A new leak, which indicated a detailed look at LG’s upcoming V30 Android smartphone, was shared by MySmartPrice as well as @OnLeaks. The tech giant is expected to launch the mobile device during the IFA trade show in late-August.
The new leaked renders of the LG V30 Android smartphone showed a design which is very much in tune with the current mobile devices in the market. The upcoming smartphone could have aspects similar to handsets including Galaxy S8, HTC U11, Google Pixel and LG’s own LG G6.
Specs and features like other handsets
Smartphone enthusiasts can likely expect specs and features including a thin bezel display, a virtual home button, a rear fingerprint sensor, a dual camera as well as a shiny body.
However, the tech giant is anticipated to ditch the handset’s second display feature. Although the second display essentially served as an easy access to frequently used apps and an area for notifications, the feature didn’t entice tech enthusiasts.
As the trend of the mobile device has moved toward infinity displays that don’t come along with capacitive home buttons, a number of smartphone manufacturers have been motivated by the dual-edge curved display of Samsung. Wherein, LG’s upcoming V30 smartphone may also be going in the same direction.
Nonetheless, the renders from MySmartPrice and @OnLeaks showed that the smartphone will resemble the design and aesthetics of the LG G6. The forthcoming mobile device appears to be G6’s polished model.
The leak also revealed a fingerprint scanner, wireless charging support as well as a dual rear camera setup. The bottom side of the smartphone is equipped with a single speaker grill and a USB Type-C port. The traditional headphone jack is located on the top of the handset.
The back of the LG V30 seems more like HTC’s U11 smartphone, but it’s a mirror finish than the glass back of the G6.
However, the tech giant’s latest smartphone will be its first handset to come along with an OLED display.
Spectacular Specs
The smartphone will come along with a 6-inch display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Also, the LG V30 will arrive with an Adreno 540 GPU, Corning Gorilla Glass 5, Android 7.1 Nougat, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth, and GPS.
In spite of that, the South Korean multinational company is gearing up the V30 smartphone to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. The device will apparently have a price tag of 800,000 won or approximately $698 when it rolls out.
