HMD Global’s upcoming high-end smartphone, the nokia 8 has been spotted online as carrying a special Gold-like Copper color variant. The leaked image has surfaced on a China-based website and seems to reveal quite a few other specifications regarding the smartphone as well. This isn’t the first time that the Nokia 8 smartphone has surfaced in the special Copper color variant. Previously, the smartphone was leaked in the form of nine live images wherein the Nokia 8 smartphone was spotted in the same color variant.

Smartphone spotted online

According to several leading reports, the upcoming Nokia 8 smartphone has been spotted online in the form of a leaked live image in a special Copper color variant.

The upcoming smartphone appears to pack a dual rear camera system. However, what is strange is the fact that the smartphone does not bear any Carl Zeiss branding. Therefore, it has been assumed that the smartphone might not come with the Carl Zeiss technology. However, given the fact that Nokia and Carl Zeiss only recently got into a joint collaboration wherein the latter claimed that they will be supplying all the future Nokia smartphones with its camera technology, it comes across as surprising that the high-end Nokia 8 smartphone might not come along with this particular feature. At the same time, it has been assumed that the smartphone that is showcased in the leaked images might not be the final product.

Since it does not have all the designated features, there is a high possibility that the upcoming smartphone is nothing but a prototype.

Specs and features

As for the specifications of the upcoming Nokia 8 smartphone, it has been reported on several occasions that the upcoming device might come packed with a 5.7-inch 2K display.

Moreover, the device might be powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip. On the storage front, the upcoming smartphone is expected to offer 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage as well. The smartphone might house a 3,000mAh battery and will run on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system. As far as the pricing of the upcoming smartphone is concerned, the device will probably be priced anywhere from $549 to $599.

Nokia hasn’t confirmed the launch-date as yet, but it seems like they will probably introduce the smartphone towards the end of August. Other color variants of the upcoming smartphone include Black and Blue.
