The HMD Global-backed nokia has long been rumored to be working on its high-end, flagship smartphone, the Nokia 8 and 9. The upcoming smartphones are expected to launch anytime soon now. Thanks to the numerous leaks and speculations, the fans have a vague idea of what can be expected from the upcoming device as well. Now, a new set of leaks seems to have revealed the upcoming smartphones in its full-glory in a special Copper-color variant. If reports are believed to be true, then the smartphone has appeared in the form of nine different real-life images on the Chinese website, Baidu.

Smartphone leaked online

If the latest leak is believed to be authentic by nature, then this is the first time that the Nokia 8 smartphone has appeared in a live-form of an image. Needless to say, the smartphone looks ravishing, sporting a copper build. The caption that accompanies the images describes the color as being gold-copper. It has been suggested by many that sources close to Foxconn and its manufacturing unit, have purportedly taken pictures of the device and have leaked them online. In other words, it is safe to assume that the Nokia 8 smartphone has entered mass-production and is set to debut anytime soon now. This also falls in line with other rumors that indicated that the Nokia 8 smartphone would be launched towards the end of July.

Specs and features

Apart from the color that is perhaps among the most prominent feature that has been leaked through the image the device can also be seen featuring a traditional design. The Nokia 8 smartphone further sports minimal size-bezels and packs a physical home button located towards the bottom of the smartphone. The device further packs a regular LED notification light on the display.

There is a single-lens camera sitting atop of the device along with a volume rocker and a power key on the right hand-side of the smartphone.

On the back, the smartphone seems to be carrying a dual rear camera system with dual-LED flash as well. Nokia has been on a roll since the beginning of this year. The company first started off with the launch of its Nokia 3310 feature phone then followed it up with the introduction of its mid-range smartphones: Nokia 3, 5 and 6.

The smartphone-manufacturer is now expected to enter into a battle with other big-daddies of the technology market including Apple, Samsung and OnePlus with the launch of its Nokia 8 and 9 smartphones.
