It’s official: LG is all set to introduce its 2017 flagship smartphone, and successor to last year’s V20, at the IFA event that is scheduled to take place in the next month. The upcoming smartphone recognized by the name, ‘LG V30’ is apparently going to come equipped with top-notch specifications and a hefty price.
Release by the end of the August
Several reports in the recent past regarding the smartphone have indicated that the company plans on unveiling its flagship smartphone towards the end of August and during the IFA Technology Show, 2017.
On the basis of this, it has been assumed that the smartphone will be launched on August 31st – however, the date is tentative. As pointed by The Investor¸ LG introduced its V20 smartphone sometime in September last year. This goes on to suggest that LG has always been the kind of introduce its flagship devices at around this time only. On the basis of the numerous leaks and renders, it is being assumed that the upcoming LG V30 smartphone is going to pack a metal-built along with a slimmer body. Apart from this, the display size on the LG V30 is going to be quite large as well. Thanks to OnLeaks and MySmartPrice, the upcoming LG V30 smartphone is believed to carry a glass design on the back and will even apparently support wireless charging.

The leaked renders also suggested that the smartphone is going to sport a dual rear camera set-up along with a splendid front shooter as well. As for the display, LG is assumed to be making use of OLED panels over LCD screens this year. The smartphone is expected to feature a bezel-less design, which will pretty much change the entire look of the device undoubtedly.
As for the software of the smartphone, the LG V30 is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip and will house a massive 3,200mAh battery. The smartphone will also come with the support of IP68 certification as well – which is an indication the smartphone is going to be dust and water resistant. The smartphone will include both, ESS Quad-DAC support as well as a headphone jack.
