For those who don’t know, the Moto Z2 Force smartphone will serve as the successor to last year’s Moto Z and Z Force smartphones.
A new design
As reported by Phandroid, the leaks and speculations regarding the upcoming smartphone first began back in April this year.
These were thanks to @OnLeaks leaked renders regarding the smartphone. The leaked renders further went on to confirm that the smartphone was going to sport a modular design, with a range of upgraded specifications complimented by support for Moto Mods as well. Reports that emerged online at that time started emphasizing how important Moto Z2 Force is for the Moto Z line-up of smartphones.
Specs and features of Z2
On the basis of the design, the firm apparently decided to stick to the classic – the one found in the original Moto Z smartphone. However, the company did include certain tweaks, for instance, the camera has received a major bump along with the fact that the device comes with a new wireless charging Mod option as well.

Apart from this, the Moto Z2 Force smartphone will allegedly come equipped with a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display with 2,560 x 1,440 pixel resolution along with Motorola’s ShatterShield display technology.
The smartphone is going to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 system-on-chip and will go on to offer 4GB of RAM 128GB of internal storage. Users may also have the option of getting a 6GB RAM variant as well. The smartphone is expected to include USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack as well. There’s no word on the battery of the smartphone as yet, but the smartphone will most probably run on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat operating system.
