Motorola is trying to mix it up with market leaders Samsung and Apple by releasing their high-end version of a smartphone, the Moto Z2 Force. Packed with the new 360 camera Moto Mod feature, this Motorola smartphone will be available in the market starting August 10.

New features

According to Motorola, the Z2 Force was designed so users can record 4K videos in 360 degrees or do live-streaming. This Android-based smartphone has dual rear-facing 12MP cameras, a standard camera, and a monochrome setup with a black and white lens that aid in-depth field shots, with the option to capture full or partial black and white photos.

The front camera has 5-megapixels for selfies.

Like its predecessor, the new Motorola handset will have a 5.5-inch Quad HD AMOLED display, the same display technology other leading smartphone manufacturers use, which offers more dynamic colors compared to LED screens. Motorola also incorporated its ShatterShield technology, which means the smartphone is guaranteed never to crack or shatter.

The upcoming Motorola phone has a slimmer 0.24-inch thickness compared to its predecessor which is 0.28-inch thick.

A slimmer smartphone also comes in lighter, cutting back from 5.7-ounces to 5-ounces. The only thing about this thinner, lighter Moto Z2 is a smaller 2,730-mAh battery; a far cry from Z Force’s 3,500-mAh battery.

Internal specs, release date, and pricing

For most tech-savvy users, the first question in mind would be: What powers the Moto Z2 Force?

The most important question of all: How much is the Motorola Moto Z2 Force smartphone?

For $720, one can purchase the upcoming Motorola smartphone starting August 10. But why purchase the phone when you can own the Moto Z2 Force thru US carriers for only $30 per month on a 24-month plan (the same $720 total)?
