Boost and Virgin Mobile, two of Sprint’s prepaid brands were selling the Galaxy S8 at a discounted price of $649.99. This was the lowest price of the Samsung flagship anywhere barring special deals or offers. However, the carrier has now come up with a deal which further reduces the price of the handset.

Galaxy S8 on sale at 20 percent discount

Samsung’s flagship released in April and since then has been selling out rapidly due to its popularity and top specs. However, Boost is now offering a better bargain which can ensure that one can get a brand new Galaxy S8 for just over $500.

The company website shows that the original price for the smartphone remains $649.99 but, any customer who enters the promo code Boost17 at checkout would receive a 20 percent discount on the price and will be able to snag up the Galaxy S8 for just $520.

It is important to note however that this is an online only offer, meaning one can only avail it if they buy the smartphone from Boost’s website. The offer will continue till June 15 if the stocks last till then. Another thing to remember before taking up this offer is that the Galaxy S8 here is not the unlocked variant. In fact, it will most likely be locked to Boost’s network for at least one year, and customers may be required to take up monthly plans that start at $35.

Even considering the locked handset, the offer is a good one and gives interested buyers a significant amount of discount on the Samsung Galaxy S8 device. Stocks may run out before the end of the offer on June 15. So, those interested should hurry and place their orders but, do not forget to enter the “Boost17” code while checking out.
