"Star Wars: Battlefront II" is one of the highly anticipated game in 2017. The game promises to immerse players into the world they just imagined being a part of before. With the game approaching its release, more speculations and leaks were revealed. A recent report, however, seems to rouse the interest of even those reluctant gamers.
VR content
According to the latest report about the game, it appears that a PlayStation newsletter released over the weekend claimed that the upcoming game would have a playable VR content. The company reportedly placed a PlayStation Virtual Reality (PSVR) logo in the newsletter with a note in Danish that it is PSVR compatible.
Several users on Neogaf forums immediately spotted the announcement.
This news was confirmed by another German member of the said forum, who claims a German version of the newsletter also has the same information. While we are not disregarding this of a potential error, two newsletter editions mentioning it could suggest that a VR feature could be featured in the game.
As for their part, EA has not yet confirmed this latest news involving the VR content in the "Star Wars: Battlefront II." However, it is worth noting that the game publisher released a special PSVR mission for the first installment of the game. A VR mission for the second game is highly possible. The game was officially launched last month during the "Star Wars" Celebration.
Speculated VR content
Since the VR content has been the center of the buzz about the game, several reports claim it could be inspired by the latest "Star Wars 8: The Last Jedi" movie. Some are suggesting that if the game's VR support will be released after the game, it could draw inspiration from Han Solo's upcoming film.
The EA Play is the next event that analysts are betting the next announcement about the game will be made.
Fans of the franchise will surely enjoy the "Star Wars: Battlefield II" given the range of characters in the movie that will be playable in the game.
Previous reports claim that aside from the playable characters like Kylo Ren, Rey, Yoda, and Darth Maul, movie locations will also be available in the game. Massive gameplay enhancements are also expected from the upcoming match. While the game's creative director already mentioned the greater depth of the next game installment, an announcement about a dedicated server for the game is what excites fans the most.
