Earlier in May, a picture showing Motorola’s wide range of upcoming handsets Leaked online. The collection included Motorola’s G series of smartphones, which is the subject of the latest leak. Alleged images of the upcoming Moto G5S Plus have been leaked online amidst all its glory.

In the latest leak, tech enthusiasts get a glimpse into some of the hardware and design details that the G5S Plus smartphone will be coming with.

What do the leaked images reveal?

Although the leaked images of G5S Plus, successor of G5 Plus, does not reveal anything new, it confirms quite a few details that we got to see in the leaked press renders of G5S Plus which were leaked on Wednesday, May 24.

The latest leaked images – similar to the press renders – show the smartphone sporting a Full Metal chassis. This would be an upgrade from the aluminium chassis of the Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus smartphones.

In the first images, we can see that the About phone option has been opened on the display screen, giving us a glimpse into the kind of software and OS platform the upcoming smartphone would be running on. The image reveals that the upcoming smartphone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and has the March Security Patch. The Settings menu shows Moto G (4) NZAE130706 as the model number of the smartphone. If observed carefully, there is a clear reference to the type of chipset the smartphone may come with.

If one looks closely at the bottom of the screen, they will find a reference to a MSM8953 chipset. This is an official part number of the Snapdragon 625 SoC.

The image of the back panel of the smartphone reveals that the Moto G5S Plus may come with a dual camera setup similar to the once we had seen in the previously leaked press renders.

Just below the camera the all so familiar Moto dimple makes its come back. The traditional Moto dimple was missing from the Moto G5, G5 Plus, and also the Moto Z smartphone series.

Rumored specs

Previous leaks and rumors hinted that an Octa-core processor will power the smartphone. Apart from that it was also rumored that the Moto G5S Plus will come with 4GB of RAM and can also sport a 5.5-inch Full HD display.

This would be an upgrade from Moto G5 Plus’s 5.2-inch display. Previously leaked press renders hinted that the impending smartphone may sport three different hues i.e gold, gray, and silver.

It is not known when the company would unveil the much-rumored handset. However, judging by the frequent leaks, it seems that the debut is round the corner.
