HTC U 11 has been the favorite subject of leaks and speculations recently. With the imminent release of the device, it is understandable where these all are coming from. After the teased trailer released several days ago, a fresh leak now of the upcoming device's render has been hitting the web.

Latest leak

New leaks of 3D renders have been set to tease about the looks of the upcoming flagship smartphone from HTC. The HTC U 11 is said to have an Edge Sense, a squeezable frame feature. Onleaks, a reputable site which is known to be a reliable leaker, has been a source of the video that shows the upcoming device is in three dimensions.

Even before the company’s official revelation of its latest flagship, the world was able to take a peek at it. The 91 mobile website leaked renders of the device which are supposed to be taken from the computer assisted design sketches from the factory. Others suggested that it could have originated from the device's case maker of the device. The video showed a glossy red variant of the flagship with thin bezels on the left and right sides of the screen. However, its top and bottom bezels are thicker a bit.

Speculated specs and features

The device is rumored to be 8mm thick at the bottom and 9.2mm thick at the top. The variation of its thickness is because of its squeezable frame feature. Located on the top of HTC U 11 are the slotted mic hole and a round pinhole dedicated to ejecting the SIM or the micro SD tray.

On its bottom, the USB-C port, speaker grille and another slotted and pin holes. One might be intended to be a mic for in-call while it is still unknown what the other hole is for. Looking at the left edge of the device, not a single tray or button is present, this may be the point of squeezing gestures.

Mounted on the right side of the device are the traditional power button and volume rocker.

On the device's screen, under its display is the where the fingerprint scanner is placed and when it is inspected closely, it does not have a curved display, however, its bezels that spill over the edge, gives the illusion of a curved display.

A round camera ring on its back is enclosing a 12MP camera. The 3D renders really did show a lot of details about the upcoming HTC flagship but what seems to be lacking is the laser-assist sensor window, which was featured on its predecessor.

The HTC U 11 is also expected to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor, a 4GB or 6GB RAM and a 3,000mAh battery capacity and 16MP selfie camera, which is higher than its 12MP rear camera.
