AT&T and Sprint are attempting to lure smartphone customers with massive discounts on the LG G6, which was launched during the 2017 Mobile World Congress earlier this year. The smartphone may not be as powerful as the latest Samsung Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S8+, but it sports impressive features that can entice customers looking for a good phone with a pocket-friendly price. The handset is now discounted by 50 percent on select US carriers.
What’s the LG G6 deal on AT&T?
Customers who want to buy the LG G6 without any installment plan can purchase the phone from the carrier for $719.99.
However, buyers can get a 50 percent discount on the price of the device if they take up one of AT&T's Next plans of 24 or 30 months. Customers who opt for the 24 month plan will have to shell out $15 each month while those on the 30 months plan will have to pay $12 each month, which brings down the price of the device to $360. The discount will be applied as bill credit in equal amounts over the term of the plan. Those interested can opt for black or platinum colors of the device.
This deal is great when considering the fact that the phone was launched just a few months back and includes high-end specs. AT&T is offering the same discount on LG V20, which has a price tag of $830 on the carrier.
Customers pay $13.83 each month if they take up the 30-month plan and $17.29 on a 24-month Next plan. These price reductions bring down the cost of the LG V20 to $415.
What about the Sprint deal?
It is worth noting that Sprint is also offering a 50 percent discount on the LG G6. The full price of the phone on the carrier is $708, but customers can get it for half the price if they take it under the 24-month installment plan.
Customers pay $0 down and then $14.75 per month for 24 months, which brings down the cost of the handset to $354, a tad less than the price of the mobile device on AT&T. Both black and platinum color options are available from Sprint as well.
Price on other carriers and retailers
Verizon Wireless is selling the LG G6 for $672 outright.
Customers can also pay $0 down and $28 each month for 24 months. Best Buy customers can buy the phone for around $700 on various carriers. Smartphone enthusiasts who want to buy the LG G6 should find the AT&T and Sprint Deal very attractive. If you are keen on the handset do not wait as stocks may run out. Will you buy the handset from any of the carriers for the 50 percent discount or hold out for a different smartphone?
